High Performance Low Cost Vibration Meters 19-06-2013
New VibMeter VM320 and VM330 Set a New Benchmark in Affordable Vibration Analysis
The Vibmeter vibration analyser range from TPI provide a new level of performance and affordability in the vibration analysis industry.
At a comparable cost to simple vibration meters from other leading brands, the handheld VM320 and VM330 units incorporate effective analysis features that allow users to test machine vibration to a level otherwise previously requiring investment in an expensive high-end VA system.
In addition to directly displaying overall vibration levels colour coded to warning and critical levels set by ISO standards, the Vibmeters from TPI provide visual warning levels in ranges indicating balance, alignment and looseness problems as well as bearing wear levels.
An 800 line FFT display also shows the frequency and height of vibration peaks allowing the user to undertake more detailed predictive maintenance directly in the field.
The highly affordable VM320 has an integrated vibration sensor head. Taking readings is as simple as touching the machine housing and pushing a single button.
The enhanced VM330 has a BNC cable connected magnetic accelerometer and includes additional reading ranges and accessories. It is supplied with Vibtrend machine database and trending PC software which allows an organised trending program to be quickly set up for any factory or plant. Each time data is collected, it is easily uploaded to the PC system, automatically adding to the existing trend data at each machine measurement point and creating colour coded summary result tables.
A trend graph of the vibration results is immediately available as well as graphics of velocity and acceleration spectrums and a waveform with analytic tools that include waterfall comparisons, click and drag to zoom and multiple harmonic cursors.
All tables and graphics may be quickly cut and pasted into a word format report.
VM330 accessories include an integrated stroboscope head and Bluetooth headphones for acoustic bearing fault detection.
